Australia: Estimations of barley crops

Late winter weather has been favourable for crops, the planting delay in the Australian South and East has been compensated by good precipitation.

This month’s IGC crop estimate of 7.5 million tonnes of barley may prove too conservative, but there is still 3 months to go till harvest.
